Anthropic’s IPO filing leaves Ben Mann, who co-leads its Labs team, out of the founder group that will control the company after it lists. A footnote on page 248 of the S-1 prospectus, filed on 26 October, says Mann is “often referred to as a co-founder”.

Machenta, a London robotics startup spun out of Imperial College London, has raised a $40M seed round. It is building an AI model that teaches robots a new task from a single demonstration. Creandum and Union Square Ventures co-led the round, Imperial said on 27 October.

Revolut customers are reporting that they cannot log in to their personal accounts. The problems come eight days after an earlier outage left users unable to use the app or their cards. The bank’s status page listed sign-in as “partially unavailable” from 16:22 CET (15:22 UK time) on 28 October.
