Google made Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash, its AI video model, generally available. It makes 15-second clips, up from 10, lets users edit them over several chat turns and costs 30% less, at about $0.07 a second for 720p video.

Meta has brought its free Instagram Edits video editor to desktop, starting with macOS. The app features multi-track editing, color grading, customizable keyboard shortcuts, and AI-assisted workflows. Users can export videos in up to 4K without watermarks.
The company is going all-in on Antigravity and Google AI Studio and hopes developers will do the same.
