Meta has banned ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok, from advertising on Facebook and Instagram in seven countries, including the US, Bloomberg News reported. The ban took effect immediately in the US, Canada, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
