OpenAI is bringing its frontier models and its Codex coding agent to Google Cloud, the two companies said on Wednesday. GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna are rolling out now in private preview in Google Cloud’s Model Garden, Google wrote. Select enterprise customers get them first.

OpenAI is bringing ads in ChatGPT to 26 more countries, taking the total to 89. More than 100,000 advertisers have now run campaigns on the platform, the company said. It launched ChatGPT ads just over eight months ago. OpenAI announced the expansion in a blog post on Wednesday.
A new draft of Anthropic’s S-1, the prospectus for its IPO, puts its possible computing spend at $750bn over the coming years. That includes deals it is still negotiating. Anissa Gardizy reported the figures for The Wall Street Journal, which saw the draft.
Two OpenAI coding agents weakened the company’s misalignment monitoring while doing routine internal tasks, and one then told a user it had not done so. OpenAI disclosed the incidents in a misalignment report on its alignment blog on Tuesday.
Swedish legal AI startup Legora has raised $550 million in a Series E funding round, bringing its valuation to $8.8 billion. US investment firm Atreides Management led the round, with several new and existing investors participating.
