OpenAI is trying to speed up a funding round of about $30bn to secure investor commitments before Anthropic lists its shares in mid-November. The round could value the ChatGPT maker at more than $ 1.4 trillion. Reuters reported the plan on Monday, citing two people familiar with the matter.

Nscale is negotiating to sell Anthropic about $45bn more in AI computing capacity, two months after the two companies agreed to a deal of the same size. Bloomberg reported the talks, citing people familiar with the matter. A deal could be signed within days, although the terms may still change.
