Otter.ai has raised $320 million in growth financing from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. The AI meeting notetaker announced the deal on Tuesday. It will use the money for enterprise growth, its go-to-market strategy, international expansion and product development.

Homebase, which makes scheduling and payroll software for hourly teams, has launched Homebase Assistant. The AI tool finds and contacts staff to cover missed shifts, builds schedules, screens job candidates and flags timecard errors before payroll.
Spotify says it has taken more than 50 million AI-generated “slop” and spam tracks out of its recommendations this year, on top of 75 million spam tracks it has deleted. It found these were the tracks listeners skipped or rejected most.
