Revolut is building Revolut Ventures with Carne Group, a platform in its app for eligible users to invest in private tech companies, due in 2027. It builds on private market funds Revolut opened from €1 in July. Revolut is also planning its own listing in London and New York.

Apple today released macOS Golden Gate 27.2, the first major update to the macOS 27 operating system that launched in September. Mac users can download macOS Golden Gate 27.2 by opening up the System Settings app and using the Software Update option.
SWI Group, the Amsterdam-listed investment group, has launched SWI Compute to build and run Nvidia AI factories, starting in Europe. The new business has ordered about $1bn of Nvidia systems and plans its first large site in the UK. That UK factory will start at 30MW.
Volkswagen and Xpeng have won approval to run higher levels of self-driving on public roads in China. VW has started Level 3 road tests in Hefei. Xpeng can now run Level 4 robotaxi services across Guangzhou. Both companies announced the approvals on Monday.
The UK government will spend £130m on AI cyber defence, including a National Cyber Shield that uses agentic AI to protect critical infrastructure. The money is part of a package of more than £600m for AI that the Chancellor, John Healey, will put in this week’s Budget.
