Palantir’s US commercial business brought in more revenue than its US government work for the first time in the third quarter. US commercial revenue rose 148% from a year earlier to $984m, the company said in its earnings release on Monday. Revenue from the US government rose 96% to $953m.
Google has agreed to let the Prospect union speak to its UK staff in its offices, including its King’s Cross headquarters. It follows a new UK law, in force since Friday, giving unions a right to access workplaces. Prospect signed a similar deal with Meta in September.
Squarespace is laying off 19% of its workforce, about 300 people, The Verge reported on Monday. The website builder has about 1,800 employees worldwide. Most of the cuts hit product and engineering teams, according to a companywide memo from chief executive Anthony Casalena seen by Business Insider.
Germany’s cybersecurity agency has told lawmakers who got Apple’s spyware warnings to treat their iPhones as possibly compromised. Several Bundestag members and other public figures have received the alerts since 29 October.
